Sunny San Diego: Day 2

First highlight of the second day of my trip! I met my friend at kitchen area of the hotel during breakfast. Talk about coincidence! Just a few weeks before the trip, she asked me if I have booked a room, as her friend(s) backed out from the trip and she asked if I wanted take over the room. We actually booked the same hotel!

I love hammocks! So relaxing. I have one hammock at home for as long as I can remember! I think it was a gift as I do not recall my parents ever using it.

	I do not like sparkling diamonds nor emeralds. I prefer guli-s(marbles)! Aren’t they pretty?

Sunny San Diego: Day 1

I was quite bz with work, hence, I did not update my blog for quite some time.  Maybe I should just have a photo website instead of a blog since most of my blog posts were dominated by pictures.

I was in San Diego during  Thanksgiving break! Gone were the days where a Thanksgiving break meant a week long of break. Miss college!! (summer breaks, winter breaks etc)

We flew to San Diego on Thursday and got a nice car !

Felt really different going on a nice car. Nicer than our current car, at least. . After having lunch at Gaslamp Quarter, we had 5 hours to roam San Diego Zoo.  Initially, I thought that 5 hours was A LOT of time, but in the end, we did not cover all the animals. Being  typical kiasu-s, we tried to at least catch a glimpse of ALL featured animals, walking until our feet felt sore,  but to no avail.

There were many types of animals in the zoo. (What else do you expect to find in zoos.)

I also learned something new when I was in the cable car, and that is, lighting(angle) is CRUCIAL when taking pictures.
