Multitask?

This is the result multitasking … I can’t write properly while talking …

Yes, I am going to merge in my code….at last!  Have been working on it since like 1.30 pm! I was very excited this afternoon to complete what I intended to do today as there is a get-together tonight. So I worked, or rather tried to work…………looked at the time and it was 5pm already! At time time, I did not really progress much… was having some environment issues etc…plus the connection was soooo slow.  Going to the office would be a much more productive, but I was doing my laundry at that time.  I have been pospone-ing my laundry for 5 days as the washer and dryer were occupied the past week. Got queue somore! Thought that doing laundry on weekdays would be a better strategy, as I have been encountering ‘laundry-queue’ on weekends. But apparently, there is ‘laundry-queue’ every day.

To-cut the story short, I was upset coz I didn’t get to meet with my friends,  and I dare not postpone my work as there are still much to do. Also, I have my dance practice tomorrow and I think it would be a loooong one as we wanted to perfect our moves and choreography. Plan to stop by office after that. Hopefully will be much more productive tomorrow!

Going to talk to my family soon! Yay!

After that, I am going to read my magazine! Yay!

Look at your tooth … please

Every time I go for dental appointments, there will surely be some issues where there are following-up to do. Just came back from my two fillings today. The dentist’s goodbye message to me was “Please remember to floss”, or something similar. I am puzzled.

I floss everyday! After every meal (almost) and before I sleep. I have a dental floss both in my handbag, and office. I even floss and brush my teeth after my lunch in office! See, I take good care of my teeth, but somehow, the dentist’s parting message to me was to remind me to floss

After my fillings today, a mirror was handed to me. The mirror looks like ones your hairdresser will hand it to you after a hair cut. When the mirror was handed to me, my first thought was, “She seriously wants me to look at my fillings?”. What should my reply be? Nice? Not sure if nice is a suitable adjective to aesthetically describe a tooth filling.

Pondering

Baru dapat berita hari ini bahawa bapa kawan saya sudah meninggal dunia.

Kalau tak silap, dia mendapat kanser kurang dari setahun yang lalu, and the last time I heard, everything was going well. Unpredictable.

Earthquake !?

I did not feel the light earthquake, which took place today while I was at work. I only realize it when my colleagues started talking about it.

This is my second encounter with earthquakes, and at both times, I did not feel it.

Impressed by Anonymous’s patience

I am deeply impressed with Anonymous’s patience! I have known Anonymous for quite some time and I just realized that Anonymous is such a patient person. Deeply impressed!

 This strength was discovered when I asked regarding the “optional coverages” for car rental. I wanted to know if I can skip any of those coverages. Anonymous took the extra mile to point out which coverages are covered by which credit cards and which coverages are needed.

In the end, after researching and scouring for information online, we Anonymous decided that all the coverages are needed. Oh well..

Not awake … yet

Bad way to start a day.

I set a meeting at 10:30 am with my manager and another manager last Friday.

This morning, I thought the meeting is at 11:00 am. My manager called me and asked me how about the meeting. I replied, “It is at 11:00 a.m.”

And then, the other manager came to my cube and said that we have a meeting now. :S

To make the matter worse, I addressed him as my manager! :S :S

Need to make sure I have enough sleep.

Bithdays are great occasions to bring everyone together and keep in touch. Not to mention, I get to eat various cakes.

Updates

I am typing on my third-Acer! Hoo-rah! And all my data is intact.. Double hoo-rah! I was worried that all my pictures on my laptop will be wiped out.

More good news… I have just received my OPT extension! This means I can start planning for my trip back to Malaysia! As some of you may know, I am a superstitious person. There was an application fee for my OPT extension application. So , I CHOSE check number 8 , BUT I wrote something wrongly! Frantically, I searched for check number 88. I was very relieved when there was check number 88 and all the while writing the check, I was worried that I write something wrongly again. I was sure I do not have check number 888!    :)
